Feels like yesterday…
The second edition of the Peugeot Design Contest set a challenge to would-be and seasoned automotive designers to come up with a car Peugeot could use in the future but inspired by the styles and models of the brand’s legacy.
The 2002 edition was as successful as the first:
– 2,800 projects
– 90 nationalities
– 1,150,000 visitors
– 93,000 votes cast online to select the 10 finalists.
Eventually, it was project 4002, brainchild of 32-year old German graphic designer Stefan Schulze, that won La Griffe.
